This grantee was part of the Center’s Shared Services Learning Community.

Eight counties explored cross-jurisdictional sharing as a way to improve public health effectiveness and efficiency in Northern Nevada. Churchill, Elko, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Pershing, Washoe and White Pine Counties were involved. The Center published the following grant reports about the Northern Nevada Shared Services Learning Community initiative:

  • Project Description: This report was published in 2015 and provides an overview of the public health system in the area and a summary of the sites activities during the time it was a demonstration site for the Center.
  • Site visit report: The Center visited the site in December 2014. This report documents the activities from the site visit as well as some of the Center’s observations.
